Perhaps TIPS isn't such a bad idea. I have an 80 year old neighbor whose gardening habits are kind of odd. For one thing, he grows fava beans. I don't know anyone that grows fava beans. He plants other strange stuff I've never seen in anyone's garden. In fact, he hasn't planted a single All-American Big Boy tomator plant. Definitely suspicious. At certain times of the day, as he weeds his garden or, more likely, PRETENDS to week his garden, he kneels on some kind of foreign-looking rug facing east. I swear I see his lips moving. I'll have to get better binoculars. Do you think I should report him to TIPS? He's always been a mean old codger, shooing my cats out of his garden, sometimes right in the middle of a bowel movement. I swear that's why they are always constipated, poor things. He frightens me and I am no spring chicken. I anxiously await your response.
